Performance
The i7 xDrive60 packs a punch with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that produces 536 horsepower and 549 lb-ft of torque. That translates to a 0-60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds. With its standard adaptive air suspension, the i7 xDrive60 delivers a smooth and comfortable ride, even on rough roads.
Range and Charging
The i7 xDrive60 has an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 318 miles on a single charge. However, that number can vary depending on driving conditions and wheel size. Bigger wheels look nice, but they can also reduce range. In Car and Driver's testing, they only managed to get 260 miles out of an i7 xDrive60 with 21-inch wheels on a highway test route.
The i7 xDrive60 supports DC fast charging, which can add up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes according to BMW.
Interior
The interior of the i7 xDrive60 is a luxurious haven, crafted with premium materials like leather and open-pore wood trim. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers. The front seats are heated and ventilated, and they offer a variety of adjustments to ensure a perfect driving position. The rear seats are heated as well, and they can be reclined for added comfort.
One of the most impressive features of the i7 xDrive60's interior is the optional Theater Screen. This 31-inch touchscreen display drops down from the headliner to provide rear-seat passengers with their own entertainment system.
Technology
The i7 xDrive60 is loaded with tech features, including a curved instrument cluster and infotainment system, a head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, and a Bowers & Wilkins surround-sound system. The infotainment system is BMW's latest iDrive 8 system, which features a new user interface and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The i7 xDrive60 also comes with a suite of driver-assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring.
